6th Man Sports was founded by Byron Mouton, captain of the 2002 University of Maryland National Champion team. Byron helped lead the Terrapins to the first National Championship in the history of the university. Just as he was dedicated to the Terrapins, he is dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the court. “Many kids are not only seeking athletic development, they are looking for guidance and personal development as well”, says Byron.
After winning a NCAA National Championship, Byron played professional basketball in the United States and Europe. He coaches young student athletes every summer at Gary Williams’ basketball camp, runs clinics and operates after school programs throughout Montgomery County. Byron’s athletic abilities were developed by coaches along the way and he is dedicated to developing young student athletes. 6th Man Sports takes great pride in working with athletes to strengthen skills and teach the fundamentals of Sports. Let 6th Man Sports and Byron Mouton lead you to a championship.
